Why am I Gay? - 60 minutes

This film follows four gay individuals living in America today. Their stories suggest that they did not choose their sexual orientation but were born that way. Experts including a psychiatrist, anthropologist, geneticist, and neurobiologist discuss theories that reinforce the idea that homosexuals have little choice in their preferences. The film acquaints the viewer with two differing approaches to the gay community. One organization attempts to suppress and change homosexuals into heterosexuals while the other aims to help teen homosexuals feel less alienated. The compelling stories shared in the film illuminate a common longing to be loved and accepted.Read Review
